Older models may stop receiving support if their hardware is not compatible with new versions or if Realme decides not to continue offering updates for them, as keeping old devices updated is expensive and laborious.

Before starting, make sure to meet these requirements:

Sufficient storage space: Updates can take up several gigabytes. Check that you have available space on your device.
Recommended WiFi connection: To avoid consuming mobile data, it is preferable to download the update via a WiFi network.
Estimated time: The update process can take several minutes or hours, but you can continue using the device while it downloads and installs.
Once the update is installed, it is necessary to restart the device, so you will need to know the SIM card PIN code and the unlock pattern or password.

Step 1:

To update your Realme device, the first thing you need to do is access the settings, which is the icon of a gray gear that you will find on the home screen. If it does not appear on this screen, swipe left to move through the other home screens until you find it.

When the update download is complete, you will receive a notification. You can tap on the notification or follow the previous steps to return to the "Software Update" section.
The "Install Now" button will appear, tap to begin the installation of the update. As in the previous step, it may take several minutes, and you can exit this section and continue using your phone or tablet as usual.
Once the installation is complete, it is necessary to restart the device. The "Restart Now" button will appear, tap to complete the software update.
