There is a very easy way to see the IMEI code in an Emporia Click through a hidden code in the system.
The IMEI code identifies a mobile device uniquely, each Emporia device has its own IMEI code, this code must be printed on the device box and in the case of devices with removable battery under it. Here we discover how to get it in an Emporia Click very easily through the system settings.
Estimated time: 1 minute.
1- First step:
To see the IMEI code we must use the keyboard and press a sequence of keys so if the Click has a call application we open it, otherwise we unlock the phone and press the red hang up call key to make sure we are on the home screen of the Click.
2- Second step:
Press the following sequence with the Click keyboard: *#06# (asterisk, hash, zero, six, hash).
3- Third step:
By default, you should see the IMEI code of your Emporia Click if not, press on the “call” button, and it will appear.
Do you keep the case of your Emporia Click? In this case you will find the serial number code and the IMEI/MEID in the barcode on the back of the box.
The IMEI code is used for example to find out if a device Click it is an original Emporia, or it is a copy or imitation.
It is important to know what your IMEI code is in case of theft, to report it and ask the telephone operator to block the device and can not be used by another person.
It is also necessary to request an unlocking or release of the Emporia Click and that can be used with any SIM card of any operator, i.e. unlock a phone or tablet.
