Change language to Meta Oculus Go
If your Meta Oculus Go is set to a language other than the one you typically use, whether it be due to purchasing it imported, second-hand, or accidentally changing the language settings, you can easily change it back by following these steps.
Changing the language of your Oculus Go back to English from any other language is very simple, if you do not understand the text that appears on the screen you can follow these instructions through the images since the menus are in the same position regardless of the language installed on the Meta Oculus Go.
Please note that changing the language on your Meta may also change the language of certain apps and system features. Additionally, changing the language may also change the keyboard layout and formatting of dates and numbers.

1- First step:
With your Meta Oculus Go virtual reality glasses turned on and the headset attached, locate the "Oculus" button on your right-hand controller, it is the flat button located at the bottom right of the controller with the O symbol for Oculus.
Press it to display the home screen.
2- Second step:
There are two ways to access the Meta Oculus Go settings, the quickest is through the gear icon with a green background and the other is through "Quick Settings". Quick settings can be accessed by clicking on the button that shows the WiFi connection and battery percentage as can be seen in the following image.
3- Third step:
If you have clicked on the "Quick Settings" button, a screen will appear with the main settings of the Oculus Go, among which are WiFi, Guardian System, microphone, etc. In the upper right part the "Settings" button will appear with the icon of a white gear wheel, press to access the settings.
4- Fourth step:
Once inside the Meta Oculus Go settings, you will see a grid in which the different settings are categorized. The first option is "System", use either of the two remote controls to select this option to access the system settings.
5- Fifth step:
When accessing the system settings of the Meta Oculus Go, we will see a list of options on the right of the screen. We go down until we find the "Language and region" section, if you do not understand the language you can identify it by the icon of a globe. Click to continue.
6- Sixth step:
Once inside the "Language and region" option, the current language will appear indicated, click on this current language and a list of available languages will be displayed as can be seen in the image shown below.
7- Seventh step:
A pop-up message will appear indicating that it is necessary to restart the Meta Oculus Go to apply the changes, click on the "Restart" button, it is the button that appears with a blue background in the first position as you can see in the image.
8- Seventh step:
Your Oculus Go will restart and after a few minutes it will turn on with the new language already installed, it is not necessary to delete the previous language since it is only possible to have a single language installed.
