How to turn off the Oculus Go

If you need to turn off your Meta Oculus Go, either because you need to save battery, store them, charge your battery and you don't know or remember how to do it, in a few simple steps we show you the instructions to completely turn off your device.

If you leave your Meta Oculus Go on after a few minutes it will enter sleep mode, you can define the time that must pass until it enters rest mode from System -> Power -> "Screen off" and "Sleep mode".

During rest mode the Oculus Go will remain on but without using up hardly any battery, when they detect that someone is putting them on they will turn on. If you are going to spend several days without using them, it is better to turn them off completely with the method described below.

1- First step:

You will need to use one of the controllers and have the virtual reality glasses on.

To start you must locate the button on the right side of the Meta Oculus Go, hold the button down for a few seconds.

2- Second step:

A screen will appear with three options: "Cancel", "Restart" and "Power off". Using either of the two controllers select the "Power off" option and press the trigger on the controller.

3- Third step:

The Meta Oculus Go will begin to turn off and a message will be displayed on the screen indicating the process, after a few seconds they will have turned off. You will be able to check if they have completely turned off when the white led light on the left side has turned off.
