Reddit is a social media platform and news aggregator where users can post content, such as links, text, images and videos, which are then voted on by the community. Founded in 2005, it has become one of the most visited sites on the Internet.
The platform is organized into "subreddits", which are communities focused on specific topics, such as science, news, games, music, books, sports, among others. Each subreddit has its own rules and moderators. Users can subscribe to subreddits that interest them to personalize the content they see in their feed.
Perhaps you didn't know it, but in the Reddit application for mobile phones all the searches that are carried out and all the publications that are viewed are recorded. Whether you want to preserve your privacy or if you use a device shared with more people, you are interested in knowing how to delete all those searches and views of publications since it is not always easy to find this section within the application settings.
Reddit history keeps a record of your interactions, such as posts viewed, upvoted, downvoted, and comments made. This feature helps users review their activities but also raises privacy concerns. Knowing what Reddit keeps is the first step to managing your digital footprint.
Estimated time: 5 minutes.
To begin, we enter the Reddit application from your Android device, iPhone or iPad. At the top right is the “Search” icon, it is a magnifying glass icon. Click to access the Reddit search engine.
When you click on the search engine you will see that the recent searches appear just below the search box, you can eliminate each of these searches by clicking on the “x” button to the right of each search term.
